SECTION 01

[Layout: Full-width hero. Headline, subhead, buttons, mockup below.]

Your WordPress Site Isn’t Slow. It’s Carrying Someone Else’s Mistakes.

Custom WordPress development done properly — clean block themes, purpose-built plugins, and code you can still maintain in year five. Built by senior developers, with the agency owner answering you directly.

[SLOT — HERO MOCKUP: A WordPress project on laptop + phone, with a small floating PageSpeed score badge overlaid. The score is the hook.]

We’ll tell you exactly what’s dragging your site down. In 2 working days. No cost.

SECTION 02

[Layout: Thin trust strip. 4 stat blocks in a row, 2×2 on mobile.]

The Numbers Clients Check Before They Hand Over Their Site

[X]+ WordPress Builds · [X] Custom Plugins Shipped · [X]/100 Avg PageSpeed · Under [X]h Avg Response Time

[SLOT — CLIENT LOGO STRIP: 5–8 logos, greyscale, one row.]

[ See the Work Behind These Numbers ]

SECTION 03

[Layout: Two columns. Copy left, plugin-list visual right. Button under copy.]

Open Your Plugins Page. Count Them. That’s Your Problem.

Most WordPress sites aren’t built. They’re accumulated.

Here’s how it happens. Someone needs a contact form — install a plugin. Then a slider. Then a page builder. Then three add-ons for the page builder. Then a caching plugin to fix the slowness caused by the other plugins.

Two years later you’re running thirty-four plugins, half of them abandoned by their developers, all of them loading code on every single page whether that page uses them or not.

Your site isn’t slow because WordPress is slow. WordPress is fast. Your site is slow because it’s carrying two years of accumulated shortcuts.

That’s fixable. But not by adding another plugin.

[SLOT — Screenshot of a bloated plugins page with 30+ active plugins, beside a clean one with 6. Genuinely persuasive because every WordPress owner recognises it instantly.]

[ Tell Me What’s Slowing My Site Down ]

SECTION 04

[Layout: Hook headline centered. 5 cards in a grid with icons. Button below.]

Five Ways WordPress Quietly Turns Against You

None of them announce themselves. All of them cost you money.

The Page Builder Tax Elementor, Divi, WPBakery — they get you live fast, then charge you forever in bloated markup, slow load times, and a site that breaks the moment you try to leave.

The Update Roulette You’re scared to click “update” because last time something broke. So you don’t. Now you’re running outdated code with known vulnerabilities, hoping nobody notices.

The Developer Who Vanished Whoever built it left no documentation, used a custom theme nobody understands, and stopped replying. Every small change now requires archaeology.

The Plugin That Does 5% of What You Need You’re paying an annual licence for a tool that solves a fraction of your actual workflow, and working around the rest manually every single day.

The Silent Security Debt Outdated plugins, weak logins, no backups, no monitoring. It works fine right up until the morning it doesn’t — and then it’s a full rebuild.

[SLOT — 5 line icons, one per card, single consistent style.]

[ Find Out Which of These I Have ]

SECTION 05

[Layout: Full-width band, contrasting background. Statement block. Mockup below, button under it.]

WordPress Powers 40% of the Web. Almost Nobody Uses It Properly.

It isn’t the platform that fails. It’s how it gets assembled.

Built properly, WordPress is genuinely excellent — fast, flexible, open, and yours forever. No monthly platform fees. No proprietary lock-in. No vendor deciding your roadmap. A content system your team can actually use without training days. An ecosystem that will still exist in a decade.

Built by stacking plugins on a page builder on a bought theme, it becomes a liability you’re afraid to touch.

We build the first kind.

[SLOT — Side-by-side comparison: bloated page structure vs clean semantic structure. Or a scrolling mockup of a clean custom build.]

SECTION 06

[Layout: Your strongest section. Full-width band, distinct background. 3 large cards, generous padding, stacked on mobile. Image slot and button after all three.]

Three Questions to Ask Any WordPress Developer Before You Pay Them

Ask ours. Then go ask the others and compare the answers.

“Who is actually writing my code?”

At most agencies you meet the senior team during the pitch. You sign. Then the project quietly goes to a junior learning on your budget.

Not here. Every line of code on your project is written by a senior developer with real production experience — not an intern, not a junior “supervised by” someone senior.

In WordPress specifically, this shows up fast. Seniors know why you don’t query the database inside a loop, why wp_enqueue_scripts exists, why hooks beat template overrides, and why a custom block beats a shortcode. Juniors learn those lessons on live client sites.

Experience isn’t a luxury here. It’s the line between an asset and a liability.

“Who answers me when something goes wrong at 6pm?”

The agency owner. Personally. Not an account manager, not a coordinator relaying messages, not a portal that turns your problem into a ticket number.

Most project failures aren’t skill failures — they’re communication failures. Something gets said, passed through three people, and lands on the developer’s desk meaning something entirely different. Two weeks later you’re looking at work you never asked for.

Remove the middle layer, remove the failure. You say what you need, and it reaches the person building it unchanged.

It also means decisions happen immediately. Need to change scope, shift a deadline, add a feature mid-project? You’re speaking to the person who can say yes — not someone who has to check and get back to you.

“Will you still reply six months after launch?”

Plenty of agencies are attentive until the invoice clears, then unreachable the moment you actually need them.

Fast replies, always. Messages answered within [X] hours on business days, usually faster. Site down or hacked? There’s a priority channel for exactly that, because WordPress emergencies don’t wait for office hours.

Reachable how you actually communicate. Email, WhatsApp, or a scheduled call.

We don’t disappear at handover. Every project includes a post-launch support period, and you’re never locked out afterwards. Reach out any time and get a real answer from someone who already knows your codebase.

A partnership, not a transaction. Most clients come back — a second phase, a new plugin, a store, an app. That only happens because we’re still here when they call.

[SLOT — Screenshot of a real client conversation with visible timestamps showing a fast reply. Blur names. This one image outperforms every claim on the page.]

SECTION 09

[Layout: Alternating rows — image left / text right, then flip. One row per item. Button at section end.]

Here’s Exactly What “Custom WordPress Development” Means Here

Because the phrase gets used by people selling a bought theme with your logo dropped in.

Custom block themes — built on WordPress’s own system, not a page builder Full Site Editing with a proper theme.json design system. Colours, typography scale and spacing defined once, applied everywhere. Change a brand colour in one place and it updates across the entire site. No third-party builder tax, no lock-in, no bloat.

[SLOT — theme.json code beside the rendered site, showing the connection.]

Custom Gutenberg blocks for the things your business actually does Off-the-shelf blocks handle generic content. Your business isn’t generic. We build blocks shaped to your workflow — so your team edits pages in plain language without breaking layouts or calling us.

[SLOT — Block editor screenshot with your custom blocks visible in the inserter.]

Bespoke plugins, when no existing plugin fits Booking systems, licensing, custom post types, dashboards, calculators, integrations, internal tools. Written to WordPress coding standards, properly namespaced, documented, and built to survive core updates.

[SLOT — Plugin admin screen or settings panel you’ve built.]

API integrations that connect WordPress to the rest of your business Your CRM, payment gateway, inventory system, email platform, shipping provider, accounting software. REST API work that makes your site talk to the tools you already run instead of duplicating data by hand.

[SLOT — Simple integration diagram: WordPress in the centre, connected services around it.]

WooCommerce built to convert, not just to function Product architecture, variations, subscriptions, optimised checkout, payment gateways, shipping and tax logic, transactional emails. Checkout is where most stores quietly bleed revenue — yours will be short, obvious, and fast on mobile.

[SLOT — Store + mobile checkout mockup.]

Speed work that goes deeper than installing a cache plugin Database cleanup, query optimisation, asset auditing, plugin elimination, modern image formats, deferred and minified assets, font loading. We remove the cause, not mask the symptom.

[SLOT — PageSpeed Insights screenshot, mobile tab, green scores.]

Migrations that don’t cost you your rankings Moving hosts, changing domains, going from a page builder to a clean build, or consolidating multisite. Redirects mapped, structure preserved, downtime minimised, rankings protected.

[SLOT — Search Console graph showing traffic holding steady through a migration.]

Security and backups, so a bad day never becomes a rebuild Login hardening, file permissions, security headers, automated off-site backups, malware scanning, spam protection. WordPress gets attacked constantly — yours will be ready.

Training, so your team stops needing us for small things Walkthrough recording and written documentation covering content edits, new pages, images, products, and everyday tasks. You stay in control.

SECTION 11

[Layout: Horizontal timeline desktop, vertical stepper mobile. Numbered. Image and button below.]

You’ll Never Wonder What We’re Doing With Your Money

Seven steps, all visible to you as they happen.

01 — Audit & Discovery We go through your existing install properly: plugins, theme, database, load times, security, what’s actually being used. You get a written brief and an honest recommendation — including “don’t rebuild this” if that’s the truth.

02 — Architecture Site structure, data model, custom post types, block plan, and integration map agreed before anything gets built. The step most agencies skip — and the reason their projects drag for months.

03 — Design Key templates designed first so you see the direction early. Changing a design file takes minutes; changing a finished theme takes days. So we do the arguing here.

04 — Development Senior WordPress development on a staging environment. Version controlled, coding standards followed, performance handled throughout. You watch progress live instead of waiting in the dark.

05 — Testing Every template, form, block, device and browser. Speed under real conditions. Plugin conflict testing. Backup and restore verified. Then your final review.

06 — Launch Migration executed carefully. Redirects mapped so rankings hold. SSL verified, Search Console connected, caching configured. Training delivered, every login handed to you.

07 — Partnership Support period, then ongoing access whenever you need us. We’re still here in year three.

[SLOT — Staging site screenshot, or a Git commit history showing real, documented work.]

You Don’t Have to Marry Us on Day One

Three ways in. Pick the one that matches your risk appetite.

Project-Based Defined scope, fixed price, fixed timeline. Best when you know what you need and want it delivered cleanly.

Monthly Retainer A set number of hours each month across development, maintenance, optimisation and support. Best when your site is a living product rather than a one-off build.

White Label We build behind your brand for agencies and studios needing senior WordPress capacity without hiring. Fully confidential, delivered to your standards, invoiced to you.

[SLOT — Simple comparison graphic or three icons.]

SECTION 13

[Layout: Two columns — “rescue” cases left, “build” cases right. Button below.]

Whether It’s a Rescue or a Fresh Start, We’ve Done It Before

Two kinds of clients arrive here. Both leave with something maintainable.

Come to us for a rescue when…

Your site got hacked and you need it clean and hardened Your developer disappeared and nobody understands the code Load times are killing conversions and cache plugins haven’t helped You’re trapped in a page builder and want out without losing content Updates keep breaking things and you’ve stopped clicking them A plugin licence expired and took half your site with it

Come to us for a build when…

You’re launching something new and want it right from day one You’ve outgrown a theme and need genuine custom functionality You need a plugin that doesn’t exist yet You’re moving from Wix, Squarespace or Shopify and want to own your platform You need WordPress connected to systems you already run

[SLOT — Two-column graphic, rescue vs build.]

SECTION 14

The Tools We Chose So You’re Not Trapped in Five Years

Boring, proven technology — on purpose.

WordPress Core · Gutenberg / FSE · PHP 8 · WooCommerce · JavaScript · React · MySQL · REST API · Git · Composer

We build on WordPress’s own systems rather than third-party layers on top of them. That means when WordPress updates, your site benefits instead of breaking — and any competent developer can pick up your codebase without a translator.

[SLOT — Technology logo grid, greyscale, evenly spaced.]

SECTION 15

[Layout: Two columns. Ticks left, crosses right. Button below.]

We’ll Tell You If You Shouldn’t Hire Us

We’d rather lose the project than take one we both regret.

We’re a strong fit if you…

Run a business that depends on your site actually working Need functionality that no existing plugin provides Have inherited a mess and need someone senior to untangle it Want to own your platform outright, with no lock-in Are tired of chasing developers who don’t reply Want a long-term partner, not a one-off supplier

We’re probably wrong for you if you…

Want the absolute cheapest option available Need it live by tomorrow Want a bought theme installed with your logo dropped in Want it built once and never touched again

[SLOT — Simple two-column tick/cross graphic.]

[ Check If We’re a Fit ]

SECTION 16

SECTION 17

[Layout: 4 columns desktop, stacked mobile. Timeline style. Image and button below.]

Where Your Site Will Be 90 Days From Now

Assuming you start this month instead of next year.

Week One Clean, fast, and secure. Plugin count down, load times down, backups running. The first thing most clients say is that the admin finally feels quick to work in.

Month One You stop being afraid of your own website. Updates get clicked. Content gets published. Your team edits pages without calling anyone. The site stops being a source of low-level anxiety.

Month Three Google notices. Rankings climb as crawl efficiency, Core Web Vitals and clean structure take effect. Pages that were invisible start surfacing. Traffic that costs you nothing begins arriving.

Year One An asset instead of a liability. Something you can extend, hand to a new developer, build a store on, or connect an app to — without a rewrite.

[SLOT — Analytics or Core Web Vitals graph trending upward. Real data if you have it; label it clearly if illustrative.]

SECTION 18

[Layout: Narrow centered column, distinct background. Short. Button below.]

Here’s What We Refuse to Promise You

Because anyone promising it is guessing.

We won’t promise a specific PageSpeed score before seeing your site. We won’t promise a guaranteed position on page one. We won’t promise your traffic will double. Nobody can honestly promise those things, and you should be wary of anyone who does.

What we will promise: clean code written by senior developers, no page-builder lock-in, a site you own outright, documentation you can hand to anyone, and a straight, quick answer from us whenever you need one.

Those are the things genuinely inside our control. Everything else is built on top of them.

[ That’s the Honesty I Wanted ]

SECTION 19

[Layout: 3 testimonial cards or slider. Photo + name + company. Button below.]

The Part Where Someone Other Than Us Does the Talking

“[Short, specific quote about a real outcome — ideally with a number in it.]” [Name] — [Company]

“[Short quote about responsiveness or communication — reinforces Section 06.]” [Name] — [Company]

“[Short quote about being able to manage the site themselves afterwards.]” [Name] — [Company]

[SLOT — Real client photos. They outperform initials in circles by a wide margin.]

[ Read More Client Stories ]

SECTION 20

[Layout: Accordion, collapsed by default. Button below.]

The Questions You’re Too Polite to Ask

Ask them anyway. We’d rather you knew now.

Who is actually writing my code? A senior developer, every time. We don’t hand projects to juniors learning on your budget, and we don’t quietly outsource your build to someone you’ve never met.

Who do I talk to during the project? The agency owner, directly. No account managers, no ticket queues, no messages relayed through three people before reaching whoever is building your site.

How fast do you actually reply? Within [X] hours on business days, usually faster. Site down or compromised? Priority channel, handled immediately.

Do you use Elementor or Divi? Only when a client specifically requires it or already depends on it. By default we build custom block themes on WordPress’s native editor — faster, lighter, no licence fees, and no lock-in if you ever leave us.

Can you fix my existing site instead of rebuilding it? Often, yes — and we’ll tell you honestly which is the better value. Send us your URL and you’ll get a straight answer, including “this doesn’t need rebuilding” when that’s the truth.

Will my content survive the rebuild? Yes. Posts, pages, products, users, media and URLs are migrated with redirects mapped so your rankings hold. Nothing gets lost.

Can I still update the site myself afterwards? That’s the whole point. Everything you’ll realistically want to change is editable in the WordPress block editor in plain language. Training walkthrough and written docs included.

What if a plugin you build stops working after a WordPress update? Custom code we write is built to WordPress standards specifically so it survives core updates. If something does break during your support period, we fix it at no cost.

Do you handle hosting? We’ll recommend hosting that fits your traffic and budget, then handle setup and migration. Accounts stay in your name — you own them, always.

What happens if my site gets hacked? If you’re on a care plan, we handle cleanup and hardening as part of it. If you’re not, we still take emergency work — contact us and we’ll respond immediately.

Will my site rank better afterwards? It’ll be built on the technical foundations ranking depends on — clean structure, fast Core Web Vitals, schema, crawlable architecture. Where you actually land also depends on competition and ongoing content, which is why we offer SEO as a separate ongoing service.

How do payments work? Deposit to secure your slot and begin, balance at launch. Larger projects split across milestones. Everything agreed in writing before we start.

Do you work with international clients? Yes. We work across timezones without drama — email, WhatsApp, or scheduled calls, whatever suits you.

[ Ask Me Something Not on This List ]

SECTION 21

[Layout: Full-width closing band. Strong background or faded mockup behind. One button. No navigation, no distractions.]

Your Site Has Been “Fine for Now” for Two Years

It won’t be fine forever. It’ll be fine right up until the morning it isn’t.

Slow sites lose customers quietly. Outdated plugins get exploited eventually. And the longer a WordPress install accumulates shortcuts, the more expensive the eventual fix becomes.

Send us your website address. Within 2 working days you’ll get an honest audit — what’s slowing it down, what’s putting it at risk, what’s worth fixing, and what genuinely isn’t.

No pressure. No obligation. If your site doesn’t need our help, we’ll tell you that too.
